Unleash your child’s inner movie magic and discover new passions this summer at Camp CinemaKidz, NYC’s ultimate creative hub and the Best Summer Camp in NYC for film, animation, and media arts exploration! Here, kids aren’t just campers; they transform into authors, directors, digital animators, culinary stars, and set designers, working together with their peers to bring their wildest ideas to life. Summer camp days are jam-packed with exciting activities where your child can write their own story, star in their very own cooking show, become an illustrator, design costumes and props in Art Direction, and produce original animated shorts.

Park Slope

Ume Ume Campers will be moving, creating, and learning in a fun, safe, collaborative, and inspiring artistic environment. Campers will explore the works of famous composers, musicians, artists, and dancers while implementing and developing their own creative skills through the arts. Some activities Ume Ume Campers will be engaging in are: music composition and songwriting, singing, violin, arts and crafts, choreography, movement, and dance!

With 3 locations to choose from, it's the most fun you can have in Brooklyn this Summer. In addition to tumbling, dance, parkour and circus classes daily - - our camp includes FUN weekly themes, scavenger hunts, sprinkler time, themed art and more. Plus, kids create a show every Friday! Campers have fun, make friends, learn great skills, and are active all summer long!

Outdoor (South Oxford Park): South Oxford Park Ages: 2.5-4 8:30am-1pm: $590/week, Optional 1pm-6pm extended day: $115/day (Campers will be taken to Atlantic Terminal Mall.)

Pixie Pods Camp is a high-energy dance and tumbling camp hosted at South Oxford Park and in our warm, colorful studio on the 2nd floor of Atlantic Terminal Mall in Downtown Brooklyn (next to Applebee’s). We offer two options: Big Pixies Camp (ages 4–8) is located at Atlantic Terminal Mall and includes rotating dance styles like Hip-Hop, ballet, tap, tumbling, or K-Pop. Lil Pixies Camp (ages 2.5–4) is located at South Oxford Park and alternates between Hip-Hop and tumbling each day, with an optional extended day from 1pm-6pm at Atlantic Terminal Mall.

Downtown Brooklyn (City Point)

PreK–K, Gr. 1–5 | June 22 – August 21 | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Extended Day 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM | PreK-K: $730/Week, Gr. 1-5: $665/Week

Welcome to SUMMER @ BASIS Independent Brooklyn, home of the Bears! Our weekly camps provide your child with opportunities to learn new skills, meet new friends, and find new interests through hands-on activities, from science and nature exploration to creative and performance arts, sports, and games. 

Our camp program also supports development of social and emotional skills through intentional connection and activities, like our daily Camp Opening with activities designed to build community and start each day of camp
off on a positive note. From our home in Downtown Brooklyn, we take advantage of the vibrant local community by visiting nearby green spaces and taking field trips to local attractions. We also make the most of our campus’ state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring that every day is filled with fun and enriching experiences for all!

Students will learn all about the Broadway show of the week, as well as how Broadway shows are put together- including costuming, lighting, and sound. We pride ourselves in giving an all-encompassing arts education that introduces the students not only to dance, but all sides of a production!

Founded by local mom of two over 13 years ago, Treasure Trunk is your kiddo's home for creativity and connection! Each camp day is filled with singing, dancing, acting, crafting, and the theatrical exploration of engaging themes your 3-12 year old will love. Camps include an online photo album and a performance at the end of the week!
