At World Martial Arts Centers camps, kids age 5 and above learn to navigate the challenges of our ever-changing world. We have a fun curriculum that is packed with martial arts and life training. Kids learn the basics of self-esteem, self-confidence and self-respect from a loving and highly professional staff. They also learn chess, money management, and spend time in Prospect Park, the Botanic Gardens, and the Brooklyn Museum. This camp is an extraordinary gift for a child.
Below is a sample activity outline of a fun camp day:
- Camp Begins!
Our camp starts bright and early with drop off beginning at 8:45 a.m. through 9:30 a.m. Pick up is from 5:30pm until 6:00pm. Our activity Library with books and board games will encourage interactions and keep students engaged until the physical activities begin. - AM Sports and Physical Activities
Our spacious floors allow for exciting rotations of sports, fun games, and a dedicated snack time period. - Martial Arts Lesson
Each day campers will participate in a Martial Arts class -- which is separated by beginner and advance students. Campers will have time to wind down with lunch following our lesson. - Daily Field Trip or Special Seminar
Field trip destinations and seminar activities are specific to each camp week. - PM Sports and Physical Activities
Students engage in another set of structured sports, physical games, and snack time rotation from 3:30pm to 5pm. - Wind Down and Pick Up
Our camp winds down starting at 5pm with our daily showing of a children’s movie in our Library, or students may also choose to engage in arts and crafts, reading time, or spend time with their friends in other activities within our activity room. Our camp ends at 6:00pm.

Business Review
Lynn: "My two children and I joined WMAC a little over a year ago and I am incredibly grateful for the positive impact that WMAC has brought to our lives. For me, classes are not only a good physical workout, but the routines have helped me develop increased mental clarity and astuteness. WMAC has helped teach my children respect and self-discipline in a fun and nurturing environment. I am most amazed, however, at the profound transformation that has occurred in my son. He started as an excessively shy 6 year old who was too timid to even participate in class and has dramatically transformed into a brave, courageous and self-confident boy. I also highly recommend the Summer Camp. My kids attended last summer and loved it so much they are asking to go again. WMAC is truly a special place. THANK YOU for all that you do!"
Imogene: "This is our first year at world martial arts center. Grandmaster Herbert has such a warm and welcoming energy. The children never want to leave, that to me is always a good sign that a place is run by good people. All the staff treat the children with such respect and empower them to do what’s right, respect themselves and respect each other. They give the right balance of everything a child will need to be successful and well adjusted into society.
Grandmaster Herbert also shows a lot of compassion towards parents and recognizes the hard work that we do. I know I can speak for many families when I say, I am happy that I found WMAC."
