Every child is a dancer, and during the summer, our studio becomes a gymnasium for young artists of all types. During summer dance immersion camps for ages 4-13, students are divided into two class sections by age and ability (making summer dance immersions accessible for both new and experienced dancers) as we rehearse, explore, and create in preparation for the end-of-camp showcase for parents.

At Beam Camp, youth aged 9-17 and staff learn to make their ideas a reality. Through fine and manual arts, technology, and collaboration, Beam Campers cultivate hands-on skills while exploring innovative thinking, design, and the creative process. We have a fully equipped woodshop, metal shop, fabrication lab, and an arts and craft barn ready for ceramics, sewing, painting and more. Campers spend a good portion of their day in those shops and making their own self-designed projects known as Independent Work projects. At both our two-week and four-week camp sessions, we also invite practicing artists to lead workshops that we call Domains, during which they share their artistic practices, trades, and hobbies with campers.

Berkshire Lake Arts Camp provides top-tier dance, theater and visual arts instruction, plus all the magic of traditional camp for girls ages 7-15.

At Brooklyn Music Factory's summer camp, kids ages 4-11 and 12-14 (CITs) join bands and spend their days writing songs, playing music games, and more in our fully equipped studios. In addition, campers enjoy free time at the park every day, getting lots of fresh air and physical activity. On Fridays, the bands perform their original songs for one another, and the performances are live-streamed for friends and family!

Brooklyn Robot Foundry’s Summer Circuits program is back, and it’s more electrifying than ever! This one-of-a-kind summer experience invites rising 1st–5th graders to unleash their creativity, dive into hands-on building, and, of course, make awesome robots!

Ume  Ume Campers will be moving, creating, and learning in a fun, safe, collaborative, and inspiring artistic and academic environment. Campers  will explore the works of famous composers, musicians, artists, and  dancers while implementing and developing their own creative skills  through the arts. Some activities Ume Ume Campers will be engaging in  are: singing, violin, keyboard, art/crafts, and movement.

Welcome to Child’s Play NY Summer Camp, where kids’ imaginations take center stage as they escape into fantastic realms through great stories, creative movement, and games galore! Led by professional actors, they flex their imaginative muscles and learn theater skills that inspire self-confidence and community. Campers are led by expert theater artists, trained in early childhood education and skilled at centering kids’ imaginative adventures. Founded in 2009 Child’s Play NY is an award-winning dramatic arts program and offers robust theater education throughout the NY Metro area. Camps meet in Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens and Fort Greene for 3K-8th Grade.

Tap into creativity and discover new passions this summer at Camp CinemaKidz, NYC’s hub for film, animation, and media arts for ages 5 to 15!  Kidz aren’t just campers, they’re authors, chefs, digital animators, filmmakers, actors in a kid-created world, and set designers in their own right. Write your own story, star in your very own cooking show, become an illustrator or digital animator; design costumes, sets, and props in Art Direction, or explore NYC with your production team, camera in hand – days are jam packed with activities, as well as fun outdoor games and water sports.

Campers will be introduced to basic hand building techniques by creating functional pieces. They will paint with Acrylics on Canvas, and learn how to Mosaic. Each camper will receive individualized instruction. Some projects will be ready for your artist to bring home right away. The other creations will be ready for pick up in two weeks, after they are glazed and fired.

Our Summer Music Camp  gives campers the experience of playing in a rock band and performing for friends and family at our Camp Concert. The Park Slope Day Camp, now in its 34th year, provides Brooklyn families with a safe, nurturing, and unique day camp experience. Three locations are offered: outdoor activities with indoor facilities in Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, and Windsor Terrace. Offerings include a mainly-outdoor, traditional day camp experience for children entering pre-K through grade 8; Sports Academy featuring team and individual sports for children entering grades 1- 6; Take the Stage featuring majors in stagecraft, acting, singing, and dancing for children entering grades 1- 6; and the Leadership Experience for teens entering grades 9 -10.
