Welcome to Macaroni KID Brooklyn NW! I’m your publisher, Meredith.

I have loved and lived in Brooklyn for 15 years; from riverfront parks to crave-worthy restaurants and our community’s amazing melting pot of people and culture – who’s got it better than us? And there is always something fun happening around the corner… I feel so fortunate to live in one of the most family-centered areas of NYC and I am thrilled to share a roundup of the best local events, activities, and businesses with you in one easy-to-use website and weekly email. 

A little about me: My husband and I have two amazing daughters aged 4 and 7. Macaroni KID has been a great resource for my family on our tireless quest to get out of the apartment for all things fun rain or shine. Aside from taking advantage of all that Brooklyn has to offer, we enjoy watching our kids learn new skills (most recently: monkey bars and piano!), cooking, exercising outside, gathering with friends and family, and getting away when we can to hike, swim, or ski the slopes.

Covering Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, BoCoCa, Downtown Brooklyn, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Williamsburg, Greenpoint (and beyond!), Macaroni KID Brooklyn NW is a free weekly newsletter and website focused on local family events, classes, and businesses.
