Summer Camp: A Season of Discovery
Our flagship program, the CK Summer Camp, is an unforgettable experience for children looking to explore new interests, make friends, and enjoy a joyful, activity-filled summer. Running in weekly sessions from June 30th – August 22nd, our summer camp is built around the same values of creativity, curiosity, and community that guide our year-round offerings.
A Typical Day at Summer Camp:
Each camp day is thoughtfully structured to balance guided workshops, outdoor time, free choice periods, and group activities. A sample day might include:
- Morning Circle & Team Building Games
- Workshop Rotation 1 (e.g., Theater or Cooking)
- Outdoor Time in Local Green Space
- Lunch & Relaxation
- Workshop Rotation 2 (e.g., STEAM or Art)
- Afternoon Challenge or Performance Practice
- Free Choice Time / Extended Day Activities
Signature Features of Our Summer Camp:
Multi-Disciplinary Workshops: Each week, campers explore new topics and projects in:
- Cooking: From international cuisine to baking basics, campers experiment with ingredients, learn kitchen techniques, and even host “tasting days.”
- STEAM: Think slime labs, rocket launches, coding games, and eco-science challenges—all designed to make science and engineering accessible and exciting.
- Theater: Weekly productions, costume days, improv games, and talent shows let children express themselves and shine on stage.
- Art Studio: Creative projects using both traditional and recycled materials foster imagination and fine arts skills.
- Nature Connection: With daily visits to local green spaces, campers enjoy outdoor games, sports, storytelling under trees, and opportunities for environmental exploration and nature-based play.
