Summer Adventures is more than just climbing—it’s a program packed with challenges, S.T.E.A.M. activities, yoga, and team-building, all tailored to each age group. 

Every day is themed to emphasize the core life skills that climbing naturally teaches: Respect, Courage, Rest & Recovery, Patience & Persistence, and Pride. Youth will leave each day tired, accomplished, and hungry for more!

At Brooklyn Music Factory Songwriting Camp, kids ages 4-11 & 12-14 (CITs) join bands, and spend their days writing songs, playing music games, and getting creative in our fully equipped studios. In addition, campers get to enjoy free time every day with lots of fresh air and physical activity at our neighborhood park. At the end of each camp week, kids will perform their freshly written original song for each other on our in house stage. Shows are also live streamed for families to enjoy! 

Park Slope/Gowanus

For ages 6-13 | June 29-August 30 | 1:30-4:30pm | $750/week

Brooklyn Ninja Academy offers half day summer sessions. Three hours each day consist of specialized training, obstacle clinics, skills and strength training, games, ninja workshops plus professional ninja visits and interactions, and more ninja fun! Some days we work on technique, some days we run obstacle courses, and all days are active and fun! Your kids are always working with coaches who ensure their safety and their proper progression learning ninja obstacles. They’ll love it so much they’ll want to make ninja their main sport. Kids can train all summer to prepare for advanced classes in the fall, or even compete in the World Ninja League.

☀️ At YMCA summer camp, EVERY kid finds a summer designed just for them. Our expert counselors unlock the awesome inside each participant, in an environment that encourages imagination, adventure, and learning new things.

We offer a variety of camp experiences for ages 4-13, including Sports Camp, Kinder Camp, Swim Camp, Teen Camp and Traditional Day Camp. This year, we are introducing new Adventure Camps: Ready Camper One Camp, Basketball Academy, Soccer Academy and Big Messy Art Camp!

Welcome to Child’s Play NY Summer Camp, where kids’ imaginations take center stage as they escape into fantastic realms through great stories, creative movement, and games galore! 

Led by professional actors, they flex their imaginative muscles and learn theater skills that inspire self-confidence and community. Campers are led by expert theater artists, trained in early childhood education and skilled at centering kids’ imaginative adventures. Founded in 2009, Child’s Play NY is an award-winning dramatic arts program and offers robust theater education throughout the NY Metro area. Camps meet in Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens and Fort Greene for students in PreK-8th Grade.

Code Ninjas Gowanus offers exciting activities like LEGO Robotics, GameMakers (where they learn basic coding through fun games like hide-and-seek, clicker games, and mazes), and Discovering STEM through hands-on projects. Older kids can dive into modding with Minecraft, 3D printing, and exploring how data impacts AI. There's something for every tech enthusiast, ages 5-14!

With 3 locations to choose from, it's the most fun you can have in Brooklyn this Summer. In addition to tumbling, dance, parkour and circus classes daily - - our camp includes FUN weekly themes, scavenger hunts, sprinkler time, themed art and more. Plus, kids create a show every Friday! Campers have fun, make friends, learn great skills, and are active all summer long!

Textile Arts Center Summer Camp welcomes children ages 5-14 to create within the world of contemporary and historical textiles in exciting week long programs!

Each camp week features an in-depth project using fiber & textile techniques, with concepts drawn from textile exhibitions and local textile artists.

Each camp day is filled with singing, dancing, acting, crafting, and the theatrical exploration of engaging themes your 3-12 year old will love. Camps include an online photo album and a performance at the end of the week!
