Brooklyn Magic Shop's Magic Summer Camp provides young, aspiring magicians with a fun and unique exploration of the magic arts through social and emotional learning. Magicians will build and foster their magic, artistic, and creative skills in a safe, friendly, positive, and inclusive environment. Magicians will learn the importance of hand-eye coordination, movement, and performance, as well as prop-making that will inspire character development, improvisation, and the importance of using the imagination. Magicians will also learn and apply tailored sleight-of-hand magic and deep dive into the foundations of card magic.
Returning magicians will further enrich and grow their magic skills. Magicians will be able to confidently perform complete magic routines using all the concepts they have learned and practiced. By the end of each camp week, magicians will take the stage in our parlor-style magic theater for the weekly magic summer camp showcase.
