What would it be like to be a beaver, or a dragonfly, or a fish, living in a changing river valley, while humans create a new wetland habitat? Find out in Riverlandia: a fictional sound story created in response to a real river restoration project in the British countryside. It follows a teenage girl who starts volunteering on the project, but it is not all about her. The story of this riverscape is told by ten different characters, most of whom are non-human beings, including a tree and the river itself. These characters are voiced by a vibrant cast of comedians and actors. The rich, spatial soundscape features draws you into the world of the story, and includes the 'real voices' of our more-than-human companions in the narration.
