Description
Join us for a special Coastal Cleanup in celebration of Earth Day! Volunteers will help remove debris that has washed up onto park beaches with the tides, contributing to the health of our waterfront. You’ll also help document the types of trash collected—important data that is shared with the Ocean Conservancy to support global efforts in understanding and combating plastic pollution.
Stop by Pier 4 Beach anytime between 1:00 PM-3:00 PM to help us collect debris and fill a bucket (or while the trash lasts!).
All volunteers must sign a waiver upon arrival using a smartphone with internet access or show proof of advance completion. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a waiver on their behalf. Places are limited, and this event will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
All volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes with grip. The activity may involve climbing up and down rocks.
