🌎 Earth Day DIY: Sew Your Own Plush Cactus at Brighton Beach Library (ages 10-18)

Description

Learn basic hand sewing skills and make your own plush cactus out of recycled materials with teaching artist Ellen Lumpkin Brown! 

Using felt made from recycled water bottles and DIY shredded stuffing, you'll create your plush cactus and "plant" it in a compostable peat pot with sewn decorations. 

This program is for tweens and teens ages 10-18.
