Description
This Saturday, March 8th (aka 8M), join us for the Women’s Strike NYC Fest, an afternoon of speeches, participatory feminist art, and tabling in Maria Hernandez Park, from 12-4 PM. For the 9th year in a row, we are taking to the streets of NYC in synchrony with compas marching, rallying, and picketing in cities and towns across the continent and the world. This year, we will join under the cry: When Immigrant Women Stop, the World Stops with Us.
During the festival, we will be uplifting local/translocal struggles and demands at the intersection of class, immigration, and gender.
