Space was designed for parents by parents!
We have two kids and our goal was to design a space that was great for kids but even better for adults. We spend so much time with our little ones and we were constantly feeling let down by the play spaces around. They were either too small, too stinky, too loud, not well designed and a hundred other reasons we arent even going to get into.
We are designers and we believe in SPACE and how it can make you feel and think. Big open areas, room to stretch, room to jump, room to explore, room to touch, room to crawl, room to swing!
We want adults to come into Space and feel like things are easy. We have told our team to figure out how to say yes to almost everything. Parenting is hard so why not be in a place that makes your job 10% easier.
We really hope you enjoy Space as much as we do.
- If you are a Space member you will be able to travel between Greenpoint and Fort Greene at no additional cost.
- We are working on building a member app which will allow you to book classes, register for movie night, book parties, change personal information etc. We plan for this to launch in October 2024.
- Membership will be $249/month, however as of 1 Jan, 2025 Membership will increase to $299/month. Siblings are an $99/month and we do not plan to increase sibling price in 2025.

- Fort Greene after school starts on Thursday 4 Sep 2025 to correlate with the start of the 2025 school year.
- We offer pickup from PS 20, PS 011, Fort Greene Preparatory Academy and Greene Hill School. You do not need to attend these schools to be a part of our after school program.
- Age: Suitable for Pre-k - 6th grade
- Mondays-Thursdays: Excludes public holidays and extended breaks
- Times - 2:30pm - 5:30pm.
Those getting picked up from school, our Space Club teammate will meet at school pickup at 2:30pm and walk to Space after pickup. - Afternoon schedule:
2:30pm - 3:30pm / Homework.
3:30pm - 4:30pm / Open play
4:30pm - 5pm / Enrichment exercise: variable and can include art, beading, music, lego and puzzles
5pm - 5:30pm / Open Play
5:30pm / Firm pickup
