Description
On Sunday, October 6, come celebrate National Pizza Month with an outdoor pizza party featuring NYC’s top pizzaiolis!
Dozens of pizza makers like Roberto Caporuscio (Keste), Tony D'Aiuto (Luzzo's), Julio Morales (Rubirosa), and many others will unite at Fornino Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park to combat food insecurity on October 6. Tickets are available for three 90-minute sessions, each showcasing a different set of pizza makers. Proceeds will support Slice Out Hunger's Pie It Forward project, which funds pizza for hunger relief organizations. This event, produced by the nonprofit Slice Out Hunger, emphasizes collaboration among pizzaiolis rather than competition, creating a culinary jam session atmosphere. Attendees can enjoy unlimited pizza, Coke products, and live pizza-making lessons, all prepared fresh on-site in wood-fired ovens. The scenic outdoor venue, donated by Fornino chef and owner Michael Ayoub, highlights the event's mission.
