One more stop before you head back to your routine – BRIC Family Day: Back to School!
This fun-filled event is designed to inspire creativity and excitement for the upcoming school year for your little ones, with a whole bunch of activities, including:
- Notebook Ninjas: Cut and paste your favorite images onto a notebook you can take back to school! Each child will receive a notebook upon check-in to use for various BRIC activity projects.
- Goal Getter Vision Boards: Visualize your goals for the school year through collage-making! Use pre-cut magazine images, text, and markers to create a vision board on pages of your BRIC notebook.
- Re-imagining BRIC: Get creative at our coloring station with fun images of the BRIC building! Perfect for toddlers and younger kids to enjoy.
- Friendship Bracelets: Make two DIY friendship bracelets using string and beads, and share them with your friends this school year.
- Back-to-School Picture: Take your first back-to-school picture at BRIC for free! Our photo booth will capture the perfect moment for kids.
- Chair Creations with RCC: Join our special workshop in collaboration with The Roberto Clemente Center, where an artist will guide you in creating a chair cover inspired by Latin American art and history.
- Wall of Inspiration: Write an inspiring note or draw a picture for your peers and add it to our colorful Post-It wall, spreading positivity and motivation.
- Urban Glass show & tell! Visit the Urban Glass station and learn all about the art of glass blowing.
- Glass Blowing demo! Sign up for a demo from our neighbors Urban Glass located on the second floor of our building!
- BRIC Building Scavenger Hunt: Find architectural features of our building pictured in the scavenger hunt and win a prize!
