Megan Fairchild, Principal Dancer, and Family Saturdays Creative Director, hosts the programs, offering insight on choreography, music, and dancers. Family Saturdays are the perfect introduction to NYCB and the world of classical dance!
The Comedy of Coppelia
The delightful tale of a toy maker, the life-like doll he creates, and a young couple in love, Coppélia is considered to be one of the greatest comic ballets of the 19th Century. Come along as we enter Dr. Coppelius’s workshop to see what’s in store for our quirky cast of characters in this fun-filled ballet.
Priority seating for American Sign Language Interpretation is available for all Family Saturdays presentations. All seats are subject to availability.
