🌿 Hedgework: Engaging Through Your Senses at Brooklyn Navy Yard in Fort Greene (ages 3-8)

Bring your family and explore the natural world through your senses.

Join us for an immersive opportunity for children ages 3-8 and their caretakers at Hedgework, a sentient hedgerow at Building 77, commissioned by the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Visitors will explore the hedgerow through the senses (sight, smell, sound, and touch) and then, using different art supplies and modes of representation, visitors will be encouraged to record and represent their observations.

Each family will receive a tote bag with materials.

This program will be led by prominent educator, Margaret Gillis, PhD.
