Join us to celebrate Black joy, leisure, and love as we create a community mural inspired by painters like Derrick Adams, Kerry James Marshall, and Amy Sherald.

Courage Lanterns
Hear the story I am Harriet Tubman (Ordinary People Change the World) by Brad Meltzer and create a lantern suncatcher–a symbol of hope, strength, and generosity–to represent Harriet Tubman’s impact on American history.
