BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn is New York City’s longest-running, free, outdoor performing arts festival, every year at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park.
Habibi Festival will take us on a musical odyssey to sample the vibrant sounds of the South West Asia North Africa (SWANA) region. Curated by Alex Knowlton, Yacine Boulares, and Meera Dugal, the festival will bring us contemporary and traditional rhythms reimagined by artists like headliner Bab L’Bluz, a Franco-Moroccan psychedelic rock group captivating audiences from Marrakech to Baghdad to Brooklyn. The night will kick off with an ensemble led by Yacine Boulares who will be joined by guests of NYC’s SWANA diaspora including Omar Offendum, Mona Miari, Felukah, Zafer Tawil, plus a DJ set by the Yalla! Party Project.
RSVP to let us know you’re coming and be entered for a chance to win two VIP tent passes! Sponsored by Bud Light
Please note: RSVPing helps you stay up-to-date on show info, but does not guarantee entry. Bandshell entry is first come first served.
