Celebrate Spring on the farm at NYC’s ONLY sheep shearing festival. Farmer-led tours and sheep shearing demonstrations connect visitors to life on the farm. Learn about the cycle of wool processing, shop a selection of Queens Farm’s very own yarn, and visit with fiber artisans as they showcase spinning, natural dyeing, weaving, knitting, and crochet.
Groove to live music with Mojo and the Mayhem and Folk Music Society of New York, and enjoy hayrides ($6), kids' crafts, and a free scavenger hunt to add to the fun! Tour the historic Adriance Farmhouse and pick up seedlings for your home garden at Queens Farm’s spring plant sale. Stop by the Con Edison Ecology Booth to Adopt-a-Worm and get recycling tips. Enjoy our antique tractor exhibit, colonial cooking demos, and make-and-takes. Local food vendors will keep you coming baaa-ck for more.
