Description
The Vanderbilt Avenue Open Streets season starts Friday, May 3, and will run through the end of September with the following hours:
- Fridays 5 pm to 10 pm
- Saturdays 12 pm to 10 pm
- Sundays 12 pm to 5 pm.
The 2024 season is 40% shorter than in previous years due to reduced city funding. Despite reduced hours, the season will feature extensive activities and performances all free for the community, including recurring programs throughout the season featuring Skate Everything Skate School, Salsa Salsa Dance Studio, Shambhala Yoga & Dance Center, and New York Blood Center blood drives, among many other programs.
- Saturday, August 17 | 5-9pm | Outdoor Salsa with DJ Joe Gonzalez | Join us for an electrifying evening of salsa dancing under the stars on Vanderbilt Avenue! Every 3rd Saturday until September, we invite you to immerse yourself in the rhythms of Latin music at our outdoor Salsa events from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
