BKFAM’s youth fellows and youth emcee @djmmeg are taking over @flatbush_central‘s Lakay Lounge on Sat, April 13, 2-5 p.m., and YOU’RE invited.
Come hang with us, meet new people, share stories, and create some unique art. Connect with others and let the theme of “Home” spark new conversations.
Customize a mug to take home AND make your mark on a cool new public art project.
Close out the afternoon with an open mic where you can share a story or piece of art, sing, dance, or present another talent to express your thoughts about “Home” and what it means to you. Whatever you choose to share, we wanna see it and celebrate you!
All open mic participants will receive a goodie bag and be entered to win one of 3 limited-edition “Brooklyn FAM” sweatshirts from #blackowned, #brooklynbased
