Description
Make a pinhole viewer in advance of the 2024 solar eclipse! Join us on March 30th from 1pm to 3pm at Hendrix Creek Patio.
Pinhole viewers show a projection of the eclipse, showing the sun disappearing behind the moon as the event progresses. Note that pinhole viewers do not allow you to directly look at the sun, which should only be viewed from behind ISO 12312-2 rated solar glasses.
Use your pinhole viewer to safely view the solar eclipse on April 8th. Either bring it back to the park to view with us, or use your pinhole viewer at home!
All materials provided while supplies last. Registration is REQUIRED for this event, as supplies are limited.
This program is free! Be sure to dress for the weather, and bring plenty of water and snacks!
NOTE: DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT ECLIPSE WITHOUT PROPER EQUIPMENT. EYE INJURIES MAY OCCUR, INCLUDING BLINDNESS.
