Dragon Fest (https://www.dragonfests.com/) is excited to announce Panda Day, a vibrant and culturally enriching event dedicated to promoting Chinese culture in a fun and engaging way. Taking place on July 21, 2024, on 7th Avenue, between 56th and 57th Street in Manhattan, this special event invites everyone to celebrate the beloved panda and the rich heritage it represents.
What to Expect on Panda Day:
- Panda-themed Food items: Shave Ice by Dragon Lulu, Candied Hawthorn by 80's Rabbit, Panda Boba Tea by Master Panda, Egg Cake by Panda Eats World, Coconut Jelly by Yes Coconut
- Activities: Panda Dough Figurine by Dan Zhu, Panda Painting by Sunday Studio, Panda Face Painting by Simon Zurui Chen, Portrait Painting by Anna Kwan.
- Games and Raffles:
- Spin-the-Wheel Game: Purchase three items on-site and post about the event on social media to receive free Panda merchandise. Prizes include Panda Bowls and Plates, Pins, Hair Bands, and Clips.
- Ring Toss Game: Play to win more prizes at the Dragon Fest booth. Prizes include 50cm and 30cm Panda Plush Toys, Panda Paper-cutting Art, Bags, and Pins.
- Grand Raffles: Attend any event in July or August for a chance to win flight tickets to China to see the pandas. See more info here.
- Merchandise Available: Panda Balloons, Panda Plush Toys, Paper-cutting Art, Tote Bags + Pins, Cartoon Bowls and Plates, Hairbands and Clips
- Special Highlights: A 13-foot-tall inflatable panda will be on display. An inflatable panda arch at the entrance. Make sure to come and take pictures!
- About the Sponsor: Chi Forest will be offering a special limited-edition Bamboo Grapefruit-flavored sparkling water with a panda design on-site. Make sure to grab a bottle while supplies last!
