You can bring jack-o-lanterns, uncarved pumpkins, or any other gourds to a Pumpkin Smash event near you for a smashing good time. Have fun smashing, squashing, and smooshing, and helping to turn your pumpkins into compost for City parks and green spaces. Some events have refreshments, activities, and more!

If you receive Curbside Composting, you can include your old pumpkins and gourds with your food scraps and leaf and yard waste. Or find a Smart Composting Bin or community composting drop-off site near you.
