🎃 3rd Annual Pumpkin Smash at Msgr. McGolrick Park in Greenpoint (all ages)

Description

Join us in McGolrick on Sunday, November 12th for our third annual Pumpkin Smash (& more) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bring your floppy, sad pumpkins to smash and chop up for composting!

Please DO NOT bring us fresh, uncarved pumpkins. All pumpkin varieties are edible. Try out a new recipe or share them with a squash lover before composting the scraps!

• North Brooklyn Mutual Aid will be collecting winter coats! Please bring clean warm coats in good condition (all sizes) that you'd like to pass along to someone else.
• We're collecting takeout containers for Brooklyn Community Kitchen! Please make sure the containers are clean and have lids so they can be used for weekly food distributions. 
• We'll be distributing free compost courtesy of Big Reuse! Give your plants the nutrient boost they need as the seasons change and the temperatures cool.
