Description
Wonder Kids Club is a nature-based afterschool program that takes place in Prospect Park. We normally play in a beautiful secret forest inside the park, near Litchfield Villa. Each day there is a mission that invites the children to develop their own games and stories through free play. We provide them with the necessary materials they need to build structures, make music, create nature-inspired art, and explore the forest.
We plan to be outside in all weather: snow, rain, sun, and cold! In the event of a weather advisory, we will hang out in our home base at 53 Prospect Park West.
Fall season dates: 13 sessions from Sept 11 to Dec 18 (no sessions Sept 25 or October 9)
- Nature-based program (with indoor option when inclement weather)
- Main meeting point: forest near Litchfield Villa (Prospect Park West and 5th Street)
- School pick-ups from PS 321, Poly Prep, and PS 10
Alternative parent pick-up point: Bartel-Pritchard Square at 5:45 pm (Southwest of Prospect Park)
