Description
The Bergen Bike Bus invites you Saturday, September 9 (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) to Bike Bonanza NYC, a free event with activities for all!
Including a bike swap and a special "Learn to Ride - Kids" edition w/ the great folks of Bike New York (https://bikenewyork.enmotive.com/). There will be a free helmet fitting and giveaway from the cool folks at the NYC Department of Transportation (DOT). We will be there as well with some bike goodies and info on the Bergen Bike Bus. Be sure to stop by and say “hi”!

11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Bike New York Bike Swap
- Upgrade your bike to the next size at the bike swap for children, accompanied by a parent/legal guardian, who fit on a 24" wheel bike or smaller.
Bergen Bike Bus
- Get more info about joining a local bike bus on your way to school. Decorate your bike with stickers, spoke cards, and flags.

DOT Bike Helmet Fittings and Distributions
- All children who participate in the Bike Bonanza (and their siblings) will be fitted with a free helmet. A parent/legal guardian must be present to sign a waiver for children under 18.

Bike New York Learn-to-Ride lessons for children
- Is your kid ready to ditch their training wheels and ride a two-wheeler for the first time? Parents/legal guardians can register their child/children for Learn to Ride - Kids classes at https://bikenewyork.enmotive.com/ Children must bring their own bike and helmet and be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
