These are our heroes: Brooklyn Book Bodega (Seema Aghera and Rebecca Cohen), Dennis Simmons, Eric Blackwell, Mary Fowler (1926-1989), Romulus “Coach Ron” Britt, and Saleem Ali (1952-2023)
