KoKo NYC presents the annual South Slope Derby, a celebration of creativity and innovation!
For fifteen years, KoKo NYC has offered week-long Soap Box Workshops all summer long where kids age 8 – 14 create soap box cars from found objects and recycled materials. These workshops culminate in the annual South Slope Derby, which takes place on 17th Street in South Slope, Brooklyn.
During the South Slope Derby, visitors will enjoy food vendors and a raffle in addition to the race. This event is free and open to the public.
