A Brooklyn institution, The Annual Atlantic Antic, produced by the Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation, is the oldest and largest street festival in Brooklyn and a joyful experience, looked forward to by residents of Brooklyn and beyond each year. Strolling the avenue from Fourth to the Waterfront on a lovely fall day, is a celebration of ethnic tastings, fine arts and crafts from around the world, non-stop music and entertainment, and just pure fun. You’re likely to meet up with old friends or perhaps make new ones. You’ll want to spend the day, as there is just so much to see and do!
Some of the highlights you are likely to enjoy include a kids’ block with pony rides, bounce houses, face painting and circus performers; tastings from the many diverse Atlantic Avenue restaurants; and offerings from the Avenue’s fashion, craft, home and other shops that make Atlantic Avenue so special. All this combined with the display of a multitude of vendors with quality crafts, fashion and more from around the world and delicacies to satisfy every palate.

For the first time, there will be a Mommy Poppins & Brooklyn Bridge Parents Fun Zone between Hicks and Henry Streets in Cobble Hill, sponsored by Prospect Schools. The Fun Zone will be packed with FREE family-fun entertainment including squash, a cardboard maze, obstacle course, balloon twisting, freebies, arts & crafts, interactive games, rock painting, and much more for kids of all ages! Stop by our Macaroni KID table for family photo opps, crafts, games, a giveaway, and more near Table 87 on Atlantic between Hicks and Henry streets!
The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus will perform on the corner of Henry Street and Atlantic Avenue at 1, 3 and 5 pm; each show running 25 minutes will feature jugglers, acrobats, and clowns.
