Open Streets on Montague Street will be happening every Saturday in May, June, and July, and Saturday from September 9th through October 28th. The streets between Clinton-Henry and Henry-Hicks will be closed to traffic between 10 am to 7 pm.

Join us for the Back to School Party by Mommy Poppins x Brooklyn Bridge Parents during Open Streets on Montague on Saturday, September 9 from 12 to 4 pm with free kids activities, performances and more for ages 0 to 12. We will have games, arts & crafts, soccer, Ninja warrior training, face painting, kids fitness classes, squash, tennis, STEM stations, fencing, mini kids pools (weather permitting) and much more. Enjoy car free blocks from Clinton - Henry & Henry - Hicks. Open Streets on Montague is a project of the Montague Street Business Improvement District in collaboration with the Brooklyn Heights Association and the New York City Department of Transportation. New this year - Outdoor cocktail lounge for parents! And Macaroni Kid will be there with fire hydrant water play on what is expected to be a summery day!

Performance schedule at our performance area between Henry and Hicks Streets

12.15 - 1 pm: Hopalong Andrew kids concert for ages 0 - 5

1.30 and 2.30 pm: Puppetsburg puppet shows for ages 0 - 5

3 - 3.45 pm: Hype Dance Kids Dance for ages 4 years and up

Giant Game Zone from 12-5 pm on Henry–Hicks

Let your imagination go wild. Have fun playing with street chalk, giant games, Jenga, corn hole, Connect4, and more. For kids and kids at heart ages 3-103.

Cocktail Corral on Clinton–Henry near 128 Montague 

Buy an adult beverage or drink of choice from any business on Montague Street and enjoy it with other adults in this designated outdoor spot. Food from any Montague Street business is welcome in the Cocktail Corral.
