Part of BAMkids Spring 2022 and Get Up, Stand Up! Jazz Raptastic

1pm: Come early to get up, stand up, and start your groove with dancer and choreographer Adia Whitaker at this dynamic workshop, scheduled right before the Get Up, Stand Up! performance. Whitaker invites kids and adults alike to join her to learn the jazz roots of classic hip-hop dances.

Part of BAMkids Spring 2022

2pm: Sing and dance along with Ms. Mariella and her band as they flip famous jazz standards into their hip-hop babies! Jazz Music Babies offers an interactive, joyful, and spontaneous environment for kids to dive into one of the musical roots of rap. Join the group as they glide and groove through familiar tunes, magically transforming them into hip-hop classics.
