Description
Our Holiday Lab features the best in classic and new board games from our enormous library. We teach kids great games. Then, kids create their own modifications to these games by designing new rules, new actions, and more.
We spend a couple of hours playing games at Prospect Park (weather permitting). The afternoon concludes in the Lab with role playing games, such as Dungeons & Dragons and free play!
Strict health and safety protocols are followed, including social distancing, masks at all times, air filtration and circulation, and health screenings. Seats are limited due to adherence of health guidelines.
DETAILS Early drop off and late pick up hours are available!
Our indoor games include King of Tokyo, Code Names, Carcassonne, Unstable Unicorns, and much, much...much more!
Our outdoor games include our popular *Battle Lab* - kids brandish safe, foam weapons to create memorable characters, level up with powers and skills, and join in an active battle or embark on a creative quest!
Kids are divided by age into small groups, with one adult staff member for every six kids. We honor sibling/friend requests to our best ability. Please note that if you want siblings kept together (but our system would place them at different Lab locations), just e-mail us in advance of registration: frontdesk@brooklyngamelab.com

About Brooklyn Game Lab - Park Slope
We don’t just teach kids how to play games; we teach them how to analyze, discuss, and experiment with their own variants in small groups. Our kids are encouraged to think out of the (game) box.Kids who engage in our specialized approach to gaming develop critical-thinking skills like risk and resource management, the art of negotiation and deduction, and long-term planning. The Lab also stresses the importance of fair play, diplomacy, collaboration, and a positive attitude however the game turns out. Located in Park Slope and DUMBO, Brooklyn Game Lab has classes and camps for kids!
