Description
We're playing all day in Prospect Park for school holidays with drop off/pick up along Prospect Park West near the 9th Street entrance (exact location is e-mailed to you a few days before your session).
Each week features BGL-original programming. We've created more than 70 amazing games -- from active play to deductive and logic games -- so play time is constantly fresh and exciting!
In our showcase game, *Battle Lab*, kids brandish safe, foam weapons to create memorable characters, level up with powers and skills, and join in an active battle or embark on a creative quest. And there is plenty of party games to play while social distancing!
Kids are divided by age into small groups of no more than 10 children and stay with their group for the entire week. We honor requests to group siblings and friends together to the best of our ability.
Late pick up hours until 6 pm available. The kids with this add-on are brought into the Lab around 3 pm for 3 hours of extra game time. For late pick up only, pick up is at our Center Slope Lab (310 7th Ave).
**IMPORTANT NOTE RE: WEATHER** In the event of inclement weather, we may need to cancel or shorten the day's session. This will only occur as a last resort, and only if children’s comfort and safety is significantly compromised by rain, thunderstorm activity, or severe heat.
If we cancel the full day, we will run the day's session online.
In the rare instance we cancel while the session is in progress, we will notify you immediately and your child must be picked up as soon as possible. (If your child is registered for Late Pick Up, we will take your child to the Lab for the designated pick up time.)

About Brooklyn Game Lab - Park Slope
We don’t just teach kids how to play games; we teach them how to analyze, discuss, and experiment with their own variants in small groups. Our kids are encouraged to think out of the (game) box.Kids who engage in our specialized approach to gaming develop critical-thinking skills like risk and resource management, the art of negotiation and deduction, and long-term planning. The Lab also stresses the importance of fair play, diplomacy, collaboration, and a positive attitude however the game turns out. Located in Park Slope and DUMBO, Brooklyn Game Lab has classes and camps for kids!
