At Keys To Success, we are passionate about unlocking the potential of our students, both as musicians and lifelong learners, through lessons and performances that build confidence, tenacity, and creativity. We offer private Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Violin, Vocal, and Woodwind (saxophone, clarinet, flute, and oboe) lessons for children, adults and advanced players in our Cobble Hill location or in the comfort of your home.
We believe that every student has the potential to become a confident performer by providing private lessons, performance workshops, semester recitals, accredited testing, and competitions to help students move along their musical journey. Our Private Lessons are the bedrock of our program. Each lesson increases the players hand-eye coordination, aural skills, music notation knowledge, and their understanding of music. Families commit to a semester of lessons and attend a recital that showcases their child’s achievements. Each semester we offer three Performance Workshops designed to give students the opportunity to ‘practice’ their performance, receive feedback, and experience camaraderie with their peers. We also include fun musical games where students can showcase their musical terminology and knowledge.
Through participating in these workshops, students become less intimidated playing in front of others and more confident for the recital. Our end of semester Recitals are an exciting time for students to share their hard work and celebrate their successes with friends and family. Students prepare for their recital throughout the semester by memorizing pieces, performing in front of their peers, and attending performance workshops. This preparation results in nearly all of our students becoming comfortable playing in front of others. Our program is one that builds confidence, tenacity, and creativity in each student.
