Aviator Sports and Events Center, nestled within Floyd Bennett Field, is a premier destination for sports enthusiasts, fitness enthusiasts, and families seeking a diverse range of activities. As an authorized Concessionaire of the Department of Interior, National Park Service at Gateway National Recreation Area, we boast a prime location approximately 10 miles from Lower Manhattan and JFK Airport, easily accessible via MTA public transportation.
Our expansive facility spans an impressive 175,000 square feet, offering a wealth of indoor and outdoor spaces to cater to various sports and recreational activities. The infrastructure includes two state-of-the-art full-sized outdoor turf fields, equipped for soccer, football, lacrosse, and field hockey, complete with bleacher seating for spectators. Additionally, our facility boasts two NHL-sized ice rinks, each accommodating up to 2,000 seated spectators. The heart of our establishment lies in the 20,000 square foot multipurpose Field House, a versatile hub for a multitude of activities. Within this space, you'll find a 10,000 square foot hardwood floor suitable for basketball, volleyball, and futsal. Complementing this, we offer a 10,000 square foot indoor turf field catering to soccer, football, fitness training, classes, and more. Our Gymnastics Center spans 15,500 square feet, providing a dedicated space for gymnastics enthusiasts, while a 5,000 square foot Parkour Area caters to those seeking a dynamic and challenging experience.
Programming for children include classes and camps for Gymnastics, Ninja Warrior/Parkour, Ice Hockey, Figure Skating, Basketball, FC Copa Soccer and Summer Day Camp. Programming for Adults includes open sports, leagues and classes in Gymnastics, Ice Hockey and Figure Skating. Located across the street from the facility is the Aviator Golf Driving Range, offering 75 stalls for driving practice. The facility also has a putting green, chipping area, practice bunker (sandtrap), and a large natural grass tee area. The Riis Park Par 3 Golf Course is located at Jacob Riis Park Road just minutes from Breezy Point and Belle Harbor Queens on the beautiful boardwalk at Riis Park Beach, steps from the Atlantic Ocean. It is an 18 hole Par 3 Course which is ideal for beginners and veteran golfers for both competitive and leisurely play. Golf locations are suitable for children and adults.
