Join us for Brooklyn FAM's free, family-friendly, 5th annual flagship festival, presented in partnership with the Prospect Park Alliance! This year's event celebrates Brooklyn’s African and Asian diaspora voices on the theme of Nourish. What roots us? Heals and grows us? Replenishes us?
RSVP now, then check in on event day for a free tote bag, door prizes, and access to all of the activities. HOT TIP: Early check-in before 11 a.m. gets you a free embroidered Brooklyn FAM picnic blanket (one per household, while supplies last).
Come nourish yourselves and our community through dance, music, music-making, puppet theatre, aromatherapy, mixed-media zippered pouch craft, participatory Bengali Alpona public art project, Bengali mask craft, Malian and Japanese indigo dyeing stations, crafts and resources from the New York Immigration Coalition, and lots of beautiful and nourishing giveaways. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.

- Art installation & mixed-media craft station with Alison Kuo
- Malian and Japanese indigo dyeing station with Nelise Bey
- Tote bag station: Reflect, share, and draw/write on our “Nourish” theme
- Coming Home exhibition & participatory public art project
