There’s only one free, summer-long outdoor concert and performance series in NYC that’s been showcasing artists from around the world and around the block for over 47 years: BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!
BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! 2025 explores the interconnectedness of global music, presenting the vibrant tapestry of artists whose work resonates from around the world and within our own borough. This season, we honor the diverse cultures that make Brooklyn a global music hub, featuring artists whose work transcends borders and celebrates the exchange of ideas. We’re proud to present international icons and introduce you to the next generation of global music makers – many of whom call Brooklyn home.
June 27th - A Tribute to Quincy Jones: The Greatest Night in Pop
We kick off our two-part tribute to the late, great musician and producer Quincy Jones with a screening of The Greatest Night in Pop, a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the historic anthem “We Are the World.” This documentary captures the creative spark and cultural impact of a historic moment and serves as a moving homage to Jones’ unparalleled influence on music and film. Come dressed in your best ‘80s looks, and enjoy a DJ set by Rontronik and a panel moderated by Hearing Things featuring director Bao Nguyen before the film.
This event is part of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, New York City’s longest-running, free, outdoor performing arts festival.
