Description

Join Prospect Park Alliance for nature education programs at the Prospect Park Audubon Center, the first urban Audubon Center in the nation. Visitors will learn about Prospect Park’s aquatic environment and observe our underwater invertebrates up close using magnifying glasses.

Pond Water Sampling 10 am–12 pm: Did you know that an entire community of living insects, plants, and animals makes the Lullwater in Prospect Park their home? Get a closer view with one of our Alliance Naturalists.
Animal Encounters 11 am–12 pm: Join Alliance naturalists in learning about the animals in the Audubon Center’s collection.
Nature on the Go! 12–1 pm: Enjoy a nature walk along Brooklyn’s only Lake and help lend a hand to your park by removing litter along the way.
