Gowanus | Art, Architecture | Ages 5-13 | Afterschool/Weekdays + Weekends

Brooklyn Builders Studio, founded by local parents, offers a joyful, hands-on architecture program for ages 5 to 13 in Gowanus. Kids develop design skills through sketching, model making, and material exploration, all in a screen-free environment. After-School is available Monday through Friday, September 10 - December 23, with pick up from neighboring schools. Mini Studios are offered during school holidays.

Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens | Pottery, Ceramics | Ages 6-16 | Afterschool

Join us to create in clay! For ages 6-16, we offer weekly afterschool classes where students will learn the fundamentals of throwing pottery on the wheel (9 and up) as well as handbuilding (6 and up). Pottery develops growth in coordination, self-confidence, and of course creativity! All levels are welcome and class will be customized to each individual's skill level. Students will create many masterpieces and have plenty to come home with after learning how to throw, trim, and glaze their own work!

Develop your creativity with Creatively Wild Art Studio! Take your toddler’s talent to the top, allow kids to delve into art classes to draw out their abilities, turn teens into creative explorers, and save some time for yourself for an adult class! The infectious energy at Creatively Wild allows everyone to engage in their artistic pursuits in a supportive and positive way. Pick up a new hobby under the eye of our teaching artists and let's go Creatively WILD!

Last Place on Earth offers unique afterschool clubs where kids explore creativity, teamwork, and imagination. With options like Dungeons and Dragons, arts and crafts, improv, comic books, witchcraft, and more, there's something for every interest. Our welcoming space helps kids build confidence, make friends, and have fun—all guided by passionate instructors who love what they do. Weekday adventures await!

Paper Playground's After-School Art Club gives kids a chance to unwind, create, and explore. Each week, students are exposed to a variety of art materials and techniques through hands-on, process-focused projects.

The Art Annex offers visual arts classes for all ages! Our after school program is designed for ages K-5th grade by our team of educators who are also artists themselves. Each class theme is unique, exploring a wide variety of media including printmaking, sculpture, textiles, woodworking, clay, painting, drawing and more!

Park Slope | Arts and Crafts | Ages 6-14 | After School | $900-$1050/semester

Our nurturing teachers, who specialize in sparking a passion for creative expression in children, know how to make our classes special by creating an atmosphere of learning, fun & friendship. Focusing on hand-building and sculpture, painting pottery, mosaic techniques and canvas painting, students will craft bowls, plates, cups, vases as well as amazing sea creatures, animals and more creative fun.  Students are taught the fundamentals of slab, pinching, and coil techniques.
