Discover the joy of skateboarding with SKATEYOGI! Conveniently located in Williamsburg and Prospect Lefferts Gardens, SKATEYOGI offers skateboarding classes, private lessons and birthday parties in a fun, creative environment for all ages (Ages 3 and up). Our small teacher-to-student ratio and ego-free approach make every student feel welcome to learn this dynamic activity. SKATEYOGI classes are a great exercise, a form of creative expression, and very adaptable to different learning styles.

The Art Annex offers visual arts classes for all ages! Our after school program is designed for ages K-5th grade by our team of educators who are also artists themselves. Each class theme is unique, exploring a wide variety of media including printmaking, sculpture, textiles, woodworking, clay, painting, drawing and more!

Our nurturing teachers, who specialize in sparking a passion for creative expression in children, know how to make our classes special by creating an atmosphere of learning, fun & friendship. Focusing on hand-building and sculpture, painting pottery, mosaic techniques and canvas painting, students will craft bowls, plates, cups, vases as well as amazing sea creatures, animals and more creative fun.  Students are taught the fundamentals of slab, pinching, and coil techniques.

Each week, middle schoolers have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in theircommunity by supporting Brooklyn nonprofits and the neighbors they serve. Every session begins with an exploration of the organization’s mission, the challenges it addresses, and why community engagement matters. Then, we roll up our sleeves and get to work.Through hands-on service, participants build empathy, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Along the way, they discover new interests, develop confidence, forge friendships, and experience the power of using their time and talents to create positive change.
