The 50th Annual Atlantic Antic is coming up on Sunday, October 5th!

The NYC Institution Celebrates 50 Years of History In Brooklyn along 1.5 miles of Atlantic Ave.

The 50th Anniversary of the Atlantic Antic™, Brooklyn's oldest and largest street festival is coming up this Sunday, October 5th! Save the date!

The Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation (AALDC) will celebrate the iconic Atlantic Antic™ 50th Anniversary with a dazzling lineup of special happenings, entertainment, and community pride on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 12pm-6pm along 1.5 miles of Atlantic Avenue from Fourth Avenue to Hicks Street.

As Brooklyn’s largest and longest-running street festival, this golden anniversary will honor five decades of culture, cuisine, creativity, and community with a day filled with unforgettable experiences for all ages.

Highlights of the Atlantic Antic™ 50th Anniversary include:

  • For the third consecutive year, Prospect Schools will present Mommy Poppins & Brooklyn Bridge Parents Playtopia between Hicks and Henry Streets near the NYU Langone Health- Cobble Hill Emergency Facility. There will be free family entertainment, including games, bubbles, and crafts, for kids aged 0 to 12.
  • The Maimonides Medical Center Community Stage located between Third and Fourth Avenues will feature diverse entertainment all day including a 70’s singing competition, rock bands, and R&B singers. Nearby, don’t forget to take some shots at the Brooklyn Nets basketball court.
  • For the 50th consecutive year, Middle Eastern musicians and belly dancers will electrify the Middle Eastern Stage at the corner of Clinton Street. Enjoy the music and shop or dine at one of the wonderful long-tenured establishments on this block.
  • Honoring Our Local Legends- The AALDC will spotlight merchants who’ve been on the avenue for 25 years or more with special “Legacy Balloons” displaying the number of years outside their storefronts. Look out for balloons celebrating local businesses like Sahadi’s, The Long Island Bar, Damascus Bread & Pastry Shop, Make A Frame, Tripoli, and more.
  • Check out the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus sponsored by Alloy LLC between Henry and Court Streets. See clowns and jugglers perform at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm.



  • The Kids Zone on Boerum Place between Atlantic Avenue and State Street will have tons of children-centric activities like bouncy houses, face painting, and pony rides.
  • “Out in 70s Style” Fashion Show by Out of the Closet- Step into style with a fabulous fashion show by Out of the Closet sponsored by the comedic Broadway play, Oh, Mary! It will celebrate popular looks from the 70s with the show repeated three times throughout the afternoon at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm at 475 Atlantic Avenue. During intermission, enjoy a Hustle Dance Party and Soul Train Line led by Jamel Gaines Creative Outlet Dancers.
  • Join the “Antic Sing!” competition- Aspiring and established performers are invited to sing classic hits from the ‘70s and ‘80s like “Dancing Queen” by ABBA for a chance to win cash prizes on the Community Stage at Third Avenue from 2-3 pm: 1st Place- $300, 2nd Place- $200 and 3rd Place- $100! To sign up, fill out the Atlantic Antic™ Google Form, submitting a 30 to 60-second video singing a classic ‘70s or ‘80s song. Choose from a list of songs on the official Atlantic Antic™ Instagram and Facebook pages.
  • Kids Rock for Kids- Live at the corner of Nevins Street- The Metropolitan Museum of Art will present Kids Rock for Kids. Talented young musicians from around the world will show off their voices and skills. They’ll be rocking and rolling throughout the afternoon at the corner of Nevins Street. Come learn about The Metropolitan Museum of Art's current exhibits at the corner of Boerum Place!



The public is invited to take in the community, cultures, tradition, entertainment, food, and craft vendors spanning 10 blocks through the heart of Brooklyn: Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn Heights, and Downtown Brooklyn. 

For 50 years, Atlantic Avenue businesses and vendors from NYC and beyond have electrified the street with something for everyone including food, clothing, crafts, jewelry, and more. Attendees can stroll the avenue with friends and families to enjoy their favorite foods such as bbq, Asian buns, street corn, crepes, lemonade, and fried ice cream! 

The Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation (AALDC) is a Section 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to further economic development, historic preservation, and cultural enrichment in the greater Atlantic Avenue area. The AALDC provides information, advocacy, produces events and projects that promote economic growth and vitality, for the preservation and development in downtown Brooklyn and neighboring communities.

By Car: Parking is available at 200, 255, and 301 Atlantic Avenue and 333 Schermerhorn Street and other lots nearby. Street parking rules apply.

By Ferry: Take the South Brooklyn route to Brooklyn Bridge/ Park Pier 6 Atlantic Avenue
